Not getting pages on Android device when device is on but not being used.

Problem

If you have an Android device. but are not getting OnPage Notifications in a timely manner when the device is resting (screen is dark, but device is on).

Solution

You will have to create an exception for OnPage in Android's Battery Optimization menu

  1. Navigate to your phone’s Settings.
  2. Select "Battery" from the device list
  3. Select Battery optimization from the menu icon at the top-right of the screen (On some devices this is a separate setting just below Battery.).
  4. Select All apps from the drop-down menu in the center of the display. Now you’ll see all the apps that are Doze-enabled.
  5. You can now select any apps for which you’d like to disable Doze mode.
  6. Select "Don’t Optimize" and then Done.
