DO NOT ALERT schedules will always take precedent over any overlapped schedule.
When a Do Not Alert schedule overlaps any schedule the Do Not Alert schedule takes precedence and no contacts will be alerted. In the example below the Do Not Alert schedule overlaps the Late Night Oncall schedule from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM. During this time the Do Not Alert will take precedence from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM. No alerts will be sent during this period.
The Do Not Alert Schedule should end before the Late Night Oncall schedule begins (see below).
